David C. Helfgott, M.D. is board certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases.  He obtained his M.D. degree from Yale University School of Medicine.  He did his internship and residency training in internal medicine at The New York Hospital, and he was also chief resident in the Department of Medicine.  His subspecialty training was done in the Division of International Medicine and Infectious Diseases at Cornell University Medicial College.  Dr. Helfgott is listed as one of the "Best Doctors - New York Metro Area" by Castle Connolly Medical Ltd.
